Bampton has had a football team all through the C20th and on into the 21st. These photographs and documents cover a period mostly from 1906 - 1966.

Peal of bells for the wedding of Mr John Joyce to Betty Gifford-Harris. Women's branch of the British Legion, a standard was dedicated at St Mary's with the service conducted by Rev. Kelway. The standard bearer was Mrs J Horne and escorts were Mesdames Whitlock & Sheppard. The salute was taken by Lt. Col. Colvile of Weald Manor; collections for Earl Haig's fund raised £7.16s.6d (£7.82.5p)
