Molly Rose flew 38 different types of aircraft during WWII including the Spitfire as part of her work when in the Air Transport Auxiliary. It took until 2008 for the ladies of the ATA and the Women's Land Army to be officially recognised for their amazing efforts during WWII. Molly along with the others went to Downing Street and received their badge from Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
