Scope and content

These two photographs were taken almost 100 years apart. The original Duttons shop had two windows and a door between them. The name board curved inwards. By the 1960s there were 4 bay windows to the shop with the doorway in between the two centre windows. Fruit and veg was put outside on display and there was a stand for bicycles. Mrs Bullen, the wife of doctor Bullen is on the left of the more recent photograph.
