Scope and content

A couple of very dear old rogues - but then I'm biased. Phil Addison on the left, born 1934 and Terry Rouse also born in 1934. If you haven't read Phil's book about his 10 years in Bampton from 1940 to 1950 when aged 7 to 17, you've missed a treat. He wrote it for his family but I persuaded him to let the Archive publish it for him because it's a wonderful piece of social history and very funny. Full of photographs of people Bamptonians will know. Available from the Vesey room and would make an excellent Christmas present for someone who was in Bampton 1940 to 1950, it will bring back so many memories. Use the Contact Us link on the front of this website to order a book if you can't get to Bampton to buy it.
