Scope and content

When Francis Shergold's Bampton Traditional Morris Men went to dance in Italy in 1978 they learnt a new dance. When they went to do the dance on Whit Monday in Bampton, Terry Rouse couldn't remember the name they'd given to the dance and simply called it the 'Italian Job'. You can hear the music for this in this short sound track.
