A throw-away comment made by Robin Shuckburgh that the upper floor of the Grammar School had been left to rot is strongly refuted by David Pullman, one of the trustees of the Bampton Exhibition Foundation which is responsible for the maintenance of the Old Grammar School. £43,600 has been spent on the windows and floor of the upper floor in the last 10 years
