Scope and content

I. E. Busby ran the shop which he bought from R. C. Smith and sold to Les and Stella King in 1960. It's interesting to note Mr Busby suggested his shop was in the Market Square in his advert when it was half way along the High Street.

When Mr Busby had the shop it included the thatched building which today is called Strawberry Cottage and the property joining called Lesta House plus the building across the road - then called New Inn Street and now called Bushey Row - and that part of the the Busby shop is now The Pottery.
