These 6 pictures are scans of colour slides probably taken in the 1950. Dor Thompson and Kate Wylie bought The Beam and adopted two children, Julie and Roger Powell. Dor, the children and the garden can be seen in these pictures. Kate and Dor ran a mini market garden at The Beam. The Beam is one of the oldest dwellings in Bampton.
