This is the wedding photograph of George Bishop and Joy. George was the brother of Emmie (Emily) who delivered post in Bampton for many years and then took over running and living at the Papershop in Bridge Street which became known as Emmie's. He was also the brother of Edie who became Mrs Foreshew and lived in Wysteria next to the front playground in Church View. There was another sister called Rose.
