Scope and content

The Plough in Clanfield was sold by Martin and Chrissie Agius at the start of 2020 and throughout the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, much building work has gone on for the new owners and it is due to re-open early this year, 2021 or as soon as government restriction permit with regard to the covid-19 pandemic and it will be called the Double Red Duke after a character from local folklore. It is a C17th building.
Although not in Bampton, it is only just over a mile down the road and used by many locals.
