This is a conveyance made on August 16th 1887. Mr Thomas Angel Smith to Mr George Oakey, the two cottages which are semi detached and today called 'Roseanne' and 'The Cottage' in Church Street. The gardens measure 1 rood and 2 perches (a rood is approximately 1 acre; a square perch, the perch being standardised to equal ​16 1⁄2 feet, or ​5 1⁄2 yards, s equal to a square rod, 30 1⁄4 square yards (25.29 square metres) or ​1⁄160 acre.)

These two cottages were formally in the occupation of Thomas Hill and John Carter and now of Lucy Carter and Henry Swinford as tenants.
