Toby Morris, councillor for Resources wants locals to fill in the on-line consultation. Government funding is to be cut by £0.75m and there will be a rise in the cost of waste and recycling by £0.8m.

Apart from hosting exhibitions, West Ox Arts also run classes, such as life drawing which take place most weeks on a Monday morning. If the gallery is not available they usually cross the Market Square to the Village Hall.
West Ox Arts was one of 6 community organisations in West Oxfordshire to benefit from the Millennium Lottery handout. They got £4,400 and were to use it on the professionally created mosaic which can be seen outside the Town Hall on the east side
When work was done at Castle View, which at one time was Castle View farmhouse, a well was found. When the work to modernise was completed, the well was covered over and is now under part of the kitchen.

A large section of wall in Church Close fell and badly damaged at least two vehicles. The wall was eventually repaired and a new opening created where a gateway was made.
