The developers Gladman Developments keep trying to get permission to create a new housing estate on land between the Aston Road and Buckland Road. Now, at February 2021, permission has still not been granted despite Gladmans reducing the number of houses it wants to build as it has been shown part of the land they intended to use was frequently flooded during periods of heavy rain. West Oxfordshire District Council does now have a development plan so locals are hopeful this whole building plan will get kicked into touch.
