With almost 2 million refugees from the war in Ukraine and many more still desperately trying to get out of the country, a sale was held in the Village Hall on Saturday March 12th 2022 to raise funds to purchase essential items for these desperate people.
For several years, two shows a year were put on in the Village Hall and this flyer is for one of them. It was for Bowjangles who gave a wonderfully skilful and funny evening's entertainment in the Village Hall Saturday September 29th 2012.

In the spring of 2011 Nik Stanbridge put on an exhibition for the Bampton Community Archive of Pill Boxes in this area during WWII. Simon Rae wrote a play about life revolving around one pill box and it was given its first airing in the Village Hall to coincide with the exhibition.
It was a delightful play and the scenery was excellent.
With a blend of puppetry, storytelling, animated sculptures, imaginative sets and wonderful music composed specially by Andrew Dodge for this production, Cornelius and Jones Original Productions produced a wonderful evening of storytelling by Neil Canham.
