Local man Steve Radband was charged with fly-tipping at Elmwood farm, Black Bourton in 2012. When the case came to court, Steve got a small fine and the owners of the farm got a much larger one.

Steve has given much to the Bampton community both in general terms on the Parish Council and during the dreadful floods in July 2007. He makes sure our War Memorial is in the best possible condition. He is now not only a haulier but is a joint owner of The Horse Shoe Inn on Bridge Street (2020)
