This black and white photograph of Castle View farmhouse was taken about 1880. The lady standing in the garden may be Mary Plaster. The main gateway entrance has been bricked up now and moved farther to the right. The step to the little side gate close to the house has also been removed.

The original picture was taken to the Vesey room by Malcolm Plaster and Frank Hudson was sitting. It was fortunate that Frank spent nearly the first 40 years of his life living in this farmhouse.
