Scope and content

In July 2011 Carnival Films came back to record some scenes for Downton Abbey's second series. A section of wall in Church Green had fallen shortly before they came and the wall you see in the photograph is very light plastic and a wonderful imitation of a Cotswold Stone wall. You can see a man holding a piece in one photograph. As usual, the artificial letterbox has been slotted over the top of the dog-poo bin. It was a very hot day; the actors must have been most uncomfortable.
