Scope and content

These postcards were sent during WWI and WWII. They are between the Townsend family who lived at the Elephant and Castle during WWI but across the road at Castle View Farm in WWII. There are cards to and from members of the Flux family who lived in Alvescot during WWI and to Mrs Annie Brooks in Mill Green; the silk cards from abroad are particularly beautiful.
