Series of Photographs taken on 16th May 2023 of the actual fire and the fire brigade attending at 10 Bushey Row, some of the photos show the flames which had spread to the adjoining property. Luckily there were no casualties.

Refers to a flawed Survey Monkey where 155 objections came from the same IP address.
Bill Cotton, Corporate Director Environment and Place, wrote: “The parish council support the proposals as does the local elected county council member. Given this support it is considered that this outweighs the objections given.”
Bampton resident Alan Oliver said: "It's not so much that the county council has discounted the consultation, they seem to have done that everywhere. But, basically, if Bampton Parish Council asked for 20mph they would get it."

Lynne Rosemary Pointer was born on 23rd April 1946 and in Bampton enjoyed helping save the local library from closure, and being involved with the SPAJERS charity whose events are fun, legendary, and unique to a village with a strongly supportive community.

Lisa Lane who works for the BBOWT oversaw the creation of of an entirely new channel for the Thames re-establishing habitats for mammals. birds, fish and insects and rare plants. She was awarded a Marsh Charitable Trust Leadership Award for her efforts in Bringing Wildlife back to a nature-poor landscape, at the same time as battling Cancer. She mapped out the site and masterminded the site at Chimney Meadows Nature and launched the Friends of Chimney Meadows Group of 20 Volunteers.

Article by Miranda Norris Senior Reporter reporting on the stand down parade at RAF Brize Norton attended by Princess Anne marking the end more than 100 years of service. On June 30, the iconic Hercules retired from service in the Royal Air Force, coinciding with the stand-down of No. 47 Squadron. The Princess Royal, who served as the Honorary Air Commodore to RAF Brize Norton, reviewed the Squadron on parade, commemorating their proud history.
