This was held on 9th July, 2022 at the newly refurbished Old Grammar School which is now the Bampton Community Centre and Bampton Library. Robin Shuckburgh welcomed a large audience of Bampton residents. There was free wine and a new exhibition of Birding in the Bush. First ever meeting held in the newly restored upper room of the Grammar School June 9th 2022. The upper room was named The Lewington Room after Jo Lewington, whose idea and dedication brought about this amazing restoration.
Programme and photographs of the 2022 Donkey Derby held in the Sandford Field August Bank Holiday This is organised by the SPAJERS and generates funds for the Senior Citizens of Bampton and Lew. Local Companies sponsor the races and the donkeys are ridden by children There are also stalls selling local crafts and produce.
Article in the Voices Magazine produced in Aston, featuring The Old Grammar School and its role in the Downton Abbey series as the Cottage Hospital. £400,000 was raised to renovate the old building which is now the Bampton Community Hub, and houses the Bampton Library, a gift shop and the Lewington Room.
