TOE2 is Oxfordshire’s independent environmental funder, supporting projects that make real and lasting improvements to the environment and to the lives of local people. TOE2, a charity and a notfor-profit company, has worked in partnership with OCC for several years to improve access to rights of way and green spaces across the county, supporting the aims of the Oxfordshire Rights of Way Improvement Plan

Lee Mackie lost her son Jason who was in the Royal Marines while he was serving in Afghanistan. Not surprisingly, Lee has struggled with life since then but in the last three years she has fostered 3 babies
The Community Church Council has embarked on an ambitious programme to completely rebuild and extend the 1812 Gray and Davison organ which has been inside St Mary's Church since the 1850s.
There is a lovely tree behind Patrick Strainge butchers which is being kept clipped to have a rounded surface and this shows the men on a type of cherry picker trimming it.
In October 2016 a Triptych made by the Summertown United Reformed Church was lent to St Mary's. It illustrates all the books of the bible. There was no cost for this, just a request for photographs of people looking at the Triptych.
The Shirt Race run on May 28th 2016 was very well attended by both competitors and the crowd. The amount of effort the competitors went to was remarkable and the races for the youngsters and the adults was started led by The Stig.
David and Sarah Jane New invite the choir of St Mary's to a BBQ at their farm each year. David is organist and choirmaster at St Mary's. We had a lovely BBQ but had to beat a hasty retreat to the barn when the heavens opened.
A large section of wall in Church Close fell and badly damaged at least two vehicles. The wall was eventually repaired and a new opening created where a gateway was made.
