The flight was led by Airbus defence and space project engineer Jesus Ruiz and chief test pilot for Rolls-Royce Andy Roberts It was a joint endeavour between the RAF, MOD, Airbus, AirTanker and Rolls Royce with the fuel from AirBP. It is hoped RAF will reach its net-zero target by 2040
