Sunday practice, probably 2001 at the Horse Shoe

The Sunday before Bank Holiday Monday the Morris sides in Bampton have their last practice. In these photos the Bampton Traditional Morris side can be seen in the garden of the Horse Shoe, their headquarters at the time. Spring Bank Holiday Morris dancing 2000

'Sonner' Townsend, real name Albert, started dancing in 1925. In 1980 when he was 76 he clocked up 65 years of dancing and fooling.
