Re-tiling of Cotsfield, west end of Market Square

The tiles were removed and the roof made good to Cotsfield, a house at the west end of Market Square in autumn 2017. To the left, next door but one, the roof was re-tiled on The Poachers in 2016.

The Poachers Rest in June 1980

The Poachers rest was a cafe first and then it became a restaurant. Like many shops and businesses on the main roads through Bampton and in the Market Square, it has become a private dwelling. Long before it was a cafe, it was Barclays Bank.
