This is a poem written by John Bolderson, a man from Witney, who was referee for Albert Radband's Bampton Football Club. He makes amusing mention of Frank Hudson, Eric Truman, Rodney Adams, Simon Goddard, Jim (Ginger) Townsend, John Marsden, Frank Barrett, Philip Hewitson, Roger Siford, Mick Walsh, George Siford, Terry Craven, Peter Hawks and William Truman.

This is the YouTube address for the filmed interview we did with Patrick about his working life. His training for being a butcher and where it was done are really interesting and I don't know if it is still available today. Patrick ran the butchers shop in Bridge Street for many years and really enjoyed it. He won prizes for his sausages

Olive McCage was born and grew up in Bampton; she was a typist at Brize Norton air base where she met a young American, married him and she emigrated to the USA when his tour of duty here was over.

Copy of Newspaper Cutting reporting the passing of Jean Countess of Donoughmore. This is the mother of Lord Donoughmore, the 8th Earl of Donoughmore resident of Bampton, he lived in The Manor for several years and a prominent member of the SPAJERS and other Bampton organisations. The article also reports on the kidnapping of Lord and Lady Donoughmore by the IRA in 1974 and made National headlines.
