St Mary's Church Bampton Appeal for repair and augmentation of the Organ
Newspaper article and Leaflet asking for donations to help with the restoration of the Church Organ which was originally made by William Gray in 1812 at a cost of £460 guineas. Estimated cost for the project was £175,000 which would comprise of £75,000 grant and £100,000 from donations. Work was eventually carried out by Cousins Organs in Coalville North-west Leicestershire, after the company Peter Collins Ltd of Melton Mowbray went into administration. Bampton residents were invited to take part in a survey; around 1,500 questionnaires were completed as part of the project to draw up a community-led plan for the village, to help guide future developments by reflecting residents' views.

Les and Stella King owned a department store Kings of Bampton in the High Street. selling, haberdashery, toys, shoes and all manner of household items. Baby clothes, underwear, ladies and gent's clothes and made to measure garments.
