West Ox Arts, a registered charity based in the Gallery upstairs in Bampton Town Hall
Apart from hosting exhibitions, West Ox Arts also run classes, such as life drawing which take place most weeks on a Monday morning. If the gallery is not available they usually cross the Market Square to the Village Hall.

Vital showcase for amateur artists at West Oxfordshire Arts
Four newspaper cuttings from October 1996 extolling the value of exhibitions for amateur artists at West Oxfordshire Art Gallery. The exhibits include oil and water colour paintings, jewellery, waistcoats and hats, stoneware and embroidery.

In the spring of 2011 Nik Stanbridge put on an exhibition for the Bampton Community Archive of Pill Boxes in this area during WWII. Simon Rae wrote a play about life revolving around one pill box and it was given its first airing in the Village Hall to coincide with the exhibition.
It was a delightful play and the scenery was excellent.

The Eulogy by Tony Page's son Martin, gives a full account of his life. For us in Bampton Tony was in at the beginning of the Bampton Community Archive and did all the printing for the charity up to his death.

This booklet was produce by the EFDSS pre 1971 because prices are in old money and the UK went decimal February 15th 1971. It is called The Dancing English.
