Marathon runner Simon Faulkner-Barrett from Bampton set persona best time
Simon Faulkner-Barrett from Bampton was a runner in the London Marathon and completed the course in personal record time of 4 hours 28 minutes. Simon was raising money for the Mulberry Bush School in Standlake which supplies therapy and support for traumatised children.

Bampton saloon car racer Alex Dew has his sights firmly set on next year's BMW Compact Cup Championship. He finished 3rd last year and hopes to win this year. Alex has been boosted this year with sponsorship from torch manufacturer LED Lenser UK.
