Scope and content

The Bampton Traditional Morris Dancers held their annual party in November for years and invited the Swindon Folk club members to join them. When the Folk Club started in the 1960 the Morris side under squire Francis Shergold went to several events to help raise funds for the club and put it on a sound footing. From then on, the folk club and the Morris side have supported each other.
