A talk about the arms industry during the First World War and beyond will be held at the village hall in October 2014. Sue Smith and Symon Hill gave the talk on October 23rd.
Bampton celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II over 4 days at the beginning of June 2012. These are a few of the reports of some of the events which took place.
These two pictures were taken at the end of the party of the Bampton Traditional Morris Men when the dancers did a couple of Morris dances. Some in the photos include Billy Main, Jasper Walsh, Toby Perry, Andrew Lloyd, Tony Daniels, John Shuker and Reg Hall.
Each year, usually in November, the Bampton Traditional Morris Men had a party with singing and dancing and a lovely buffet. Swindon Folk Club members were invited along with a few other special friends associated with the side. These pictures were all take at their 1996 party in the Village Hall, Market Square

For several years, two shows a year were put on in the Village Hall and this flyer is for one of them. It was for Bowjangles who gave a wonderfully skilful and funny evening's entertainment in the Village Hall Saturday September 29th 2012.

Ian an award winning magician and comedian who performed all over the world - from Los Angeles to Zurich. In addition to numerous television appearances, he presented a documentary on mind readers for BBC Radio 4. A member of the prestigious Inner Magic Circle.
