This is a picture postcard of Bampton Football team in the 1906/7 season. The card has been sent to Miss K Phillips in Stanton Harcourt from Bampton on May 13th 1907.

There is a photograph of Eton Villas taken a few decades ago and a written history of the buildings starting with the sale of the original buildings or Hereditaments in 1902 at the Talbot.

Bampton Fire Brigade won many tournaments and they did well in July 1907 at Crystal Palace which is where this photograph was taken for a postcard

This is a picture postcard of Weald Manor addressed to Miss H Phillips and date stamped January 17th 1908

The White family lived in Sandford Cottage, the thatched cottage on the south side of Sandford field from at least as early as 1900. These photographs cover the period 1910 to 1960. They are all family related, some babies, children, adults.

Chief office The Hill, Witney Oxon. Railway depots Bampton, Chipping Norton and Lechlade. The remains of one of their ads in black lettering can be seen on the side of their house which was Castle View in Bridge Street.
