This old wall belonging to Weald Manor is in Weald Street. After days of frost and thaw and rain, this section fell down on February 12th 2013. It's repair was completed by April 15th.

Vera Elward aged 92 took a flight in a microlight to help raise money for the restoration of the beautiful pipe organ in St Mary The Virgin Church in Bampton. Vera ran the Sunday School for over 20 years and has always worked for the church

Witney Gazette August 6th 2014. Gladman Homes, previously refused permission to build 127 homes off the Aston road have submitted a new application to build 116 homes instead on the same site. The original application was turned down due to concerns of the risk of flooding.
