Geroge and Annie Smith with their daughter Doreen 'Dolly' Smith. Dolly married Maurice Allen and moved to Scotland. Her twin sister Peggy, married Dilwyn James and spent the rest of her life in Bampton. They had a daughter, Christine.

Janette Keyte, Bob Arnold, Josephine Keyte c1955. Bob Arnold was an actor in the long-running radio series, The Archers. He was invited to be the judge for the fancy dress party in the W.I. Hall in 1955

Marjorie Danford & Gill Ledger. Gill Ledger, nee Beckley (1929-1998) married Duncan Ledger (1920-2013) in Bampton in 1948

The two garlands made in 2019. Ruth Wheeler and Dawn Knight have been responsible for keeping the garland tradition going. In 2023, Emily Smith bravely took on this task with a huge amount of success.
