These are just two photographs taken during the Easter Bonnet competition in 1993. John Tanner and his children Nelson and Stephanie can be seen in one picture and Helen Buckingham, Stephanie again and Ann Jackson amongst other can be seen in the second one.

Some of the people include Rocky, Steve Pearce, Dave Rose, Keith Chandler, Fred Cook, Roy Shergold, Jasper Walsh, Lionel Cook landlord, Martin Ellison, Harry Ellison, Jan Walsh, Kath Ellison playing the bones, Paul McGrath, Maurice & Carol New.

These two pictures were taken in the Horse Shoe, licencee Alan Clarke, probably in 1999. Ted Poole is in one picture but the other one shows fun had with pictures and captions.

These folk songs were written out in a little note book by Ada Tanner in 1926. It is not easy to find such things written between the war years.
