Brien O'Rourke was a Morris Dancer under squire Arnold Woodley for many years and the colours in one of his paintings are those of the ribbons and colours worn by the Woodley Morris side.

Cromwell House is in Cheapside between Exeter House and The Old Forge. Hilda Kent lived there along with Margaret Howse after WWII until their deaths. Hilda did some research on the house and her notes are included in the pdf.

These picture were taken in 2007 and show the electric motor which now drives the church clock. It used to be powered by weight and pendulum which had to be wound up twice a week along with the weight that drove the carillon.
