Bampton has had a long history of playing cricket and Anna Pitt put on a wonderful, well researched exhibition on the subject in January/February 2019. A Mosaic for The Millennium by the Town Hall July 2002
A Millennium Mosaic was unveiled in Bampton by the Town Hall by Tony Walker of WODC. The mosaic was created by Rosalind Wates and sculptor Alec Peever made a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
