Downton Abbey was being filmed in Bampton again in April 2014. Most of the actors are very obliging, willing talking with the younger generation and several Bampton people are extras.

Many people in Bampton has a lovely meal in Bix Gooddy's bistro at Wheelgate House in the Market Square and were sorry when she felt she had to close it and revert to simply offering bed and breakfast.

In 2013, Margaret Landray who was a founder member of West Oxfordshire Arts Association, WOAA, which later became known as West Ox Arts, wrote her memoir of the Arts Association and this is her hand-written account.

This exhibition in the West Ox Arts Gallery, in the upstairs of the Town Hall ran from March 11th to April 1st 2012 and was titled 'Capturing The Moment.'In 1973 John Birkhead set up WOA and Ann became its first secretary.

Over the spring Bank Holiday weekend the members of the Flower Guild of St Mary's put on a wonderful Flower Festival in the church. They also work very hard all day on the Monday offering sandwiches, quiche, cakes, orange squash, tea and coffee

This is a picture of Ham Court farmhouse and the great barn seen from the Bampton-Clanfield road by the two dwellings just before reaching the 30mph sign, before alterations to the barn by the present owners Emma Bridgewater.

This is the Bampton Directory for 2010 and is the last one that has been produced. A little of the information can now be found in 'The Beam', which is published 3 times a year and is free to all households.

This is the funeral program from the church service for Constance Irene de Hamel. Constance did many things but is possibly best known for being a continuity announcer during WWII
