Three West Oxfordshire venues shared an autumn display of exotic art. In Bampton Gallery traditional cael girths and regalia from Rajasthan and Gujarat were on display from late September well into October.

A very different type of exhibition in the Gallery in Bampton in January 2002 saw 100 boxes, each containing 100 pictures and a distinctive word or phrase from the year for people to brows through.

West Oxfordshire District Council hoped to give £50k for special art development schemes in West Oxfordshire. The Gallery in Bampton was to get £3,750.

Husband and wife Andrew and Kerry Forkner gave an exhibition of drawings and creative embroidery. The exhibition is titled 'Natural Partners.' Andrew has concentrated on birds and Kerry on other aspects of nature.

100 exhibits from woodcuts to embroidery to paintings in May 2002 in the Gallery in the Town Hall. Of particular note for the author of the newspaper articles were works by Margaret Charlton's and Jeremy R Jarvis

A Millennium Mosaic was unveiled in Bampton by the Town Hall by Tony Walker of WODC. The mosaic was created by Rosalind Wates and sculptor Alec Peever made a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Abigail Ballinger became the new administrator for West Ox Arts in July 2002. She took over from Sally Proctor who had been in post for six years.

Beautiful calligraphy was used to highlight the sonnets of Shakespeare.
