Andrew McCabe sent the Archive this photograph. It is of his parents' wedding, James McCabe and Olive Peacock, probably about 1950.
"In the wedding photo, from the left is my aunt Zita Donnelly who flew over for the wedding. I think that’s Jenny Jenkin (Quick ) next to her. Next to her, according to my mom is Bob Israel, then my parents, and my Gran Alice Puttock. At the time her last name was still Peacock. Nigel Harrison, Sue Eagles and George Dafter."

George Dafter and his wife Nan visited the McCabe family in the USA and there is a photo of the group.
A photograph of Bernard Dafter, George's brother who emigrated to the USA. Bernard Leslie Dafter married Phyllis J. Silman in the first quarter of 1937. George's parents were Richard George Dafter and his mother was Alice Maude Dafter nee Trinder known as Nan to everyone in Bampton and they married in Cricklade in 1900.
