Series of Photographs taken on 16th May 2023 of the actual fire and the fire brigade attending at 10 Bushey Row, some of the photos show the flames which had spread to the adjoining property. Luckily there were no casualties.

In recent years, property prices in Bampton have increased to the extent that they are now well above the national average. This advertisement is for a three bedroom house with offers invited in excess of £400,00.

Terry Crowley, the father of Rosemary Linnet Sanguine, bought Thatched Cottage in the early 1960s and set about doing some research on the dwelling, which is one of the oldest in Bampton. This pdf documents his findings.
The Thatched Cottage, in Church Street, probably the oldest house in Bampton. Terry and Wendy Crowley moved to Bampton in 1963 and the house was then derelict. Owned by William Lock and his wife Rose. History includes notes and text written by John Blair Historian.

Conveyance showing sale of land owned by Lime Tree Cottage, Weald in 1961 and a Statutory Declaration by Mrs EJ Hunt declaring ownership of the land and property. Also Plans showing the land referred to. Previous owners were Victor Charles Coombes and Richard Henry Owen. The sale was between Countess Munster and Charles Irwin Tighe of Highmoor House , Weald.
